This place never ceases to amaze me, so much so that on our latest visit to the Granada Plateau, we decided to dedicate an entire day to it. We went down to the beach areas (from Freila), enjoyed the views from the lookout point, climbed Jabalcón Hill to experience it from other perspectives, and, best of all, we had the privilege of exploring its hidden corners by canoe. A huge thank you to the manager of the Negratín Nautical Club for accommodating us (even though it was off-season and we were the only ones there) and allowing us to experience this unforgettable experience.

We went paddleboarding as a family with a 7-year-old daughter. Everything was easy. Manolo is great! He helped us get in because it was windy. Everyone mentions this, but it's true! We would definitely go back. 100% recommended and very well priced.

Stunning views and canoeing

The most beautiful lake and recreation area. The size is breathtaking. This is one of the most beautiful lakes and recreation areas I've ever seen. Tucked away in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, it's simply enormous. We've been here two years in a row in the spring, and it never disappointed. Motorboats are not allowed on the lake for environmental reasons, but pedalos and canoes are fine. There are lovely restaurants located around the lake and a hot springs resort further up at the top of the lake. There are many sites to see, and simply enjoy the stunning size of the lake. The most beautiful blue against the yellow rock. Please see attached photographs. If you enjoy open, peaceful places, you'll love this area. Thanks for reading.
